As of 40-Year Reunion: Great to hear from you. I am excited about a 40 year reunion. Robyn and I have been living in the central valley (Merced) since 1972. Glad to hear all is well with you. You are right it does not seem like 40 years have passed, but six grandchildren help to remind me. More |

As of 40-Year Reunion: I worked for David Solinger for the last 15 years as his legal and personal assistant in Covina. David relocated to Malibu and moved the office to Woodland Hills (too far for me to travel from Glendora). The first of this year I started a new career in loan processing and lending at Pacific Loanworks in Covina. More |

As of 40-Year Reunion: How terrific to hear from you all. Congratulations on the many achievements and successes you have all enjoyed over these wonderful years. I cannot believe it has been 40 years and it continues to get better with each passing year! Regretfully, I will not be able to participate in the 40th class reunion. My husband Steven is an architect and he has accepted a promotion that is taking us to Europe. The company has not decided which location as yet, either London or Paris. That has been a very big goal for us both so we are thrilled. I'll keep you posted where we end up. Best wishes for a very exciting event. |

As of 40-Year Reunion: I would be happy to send you current information regarding the last 40 years, but........where do I start? In short....... I continued my education at MSAC and then onto CSULA and got my Fine Art degree. Fortunately, and unfortunately, I got engaged the week I was graduating and thus had to find a real job and let go of my expectations of getting rich creating art. We met at church, Bethany Baptist in West Covina. I have been married 34 years to Sarah Warren, a 1972 grad of South Hills. More |

As of 40-Year Reunion: Married for 25 years to Paul DiCaro. One son, Michael, age 20. We live in Tucson, AZ. After high school, I attended Mt. SAC and then transferred to Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California, where I got my BA in Psychology and Expressive Arts. I then organized a co-op market in Santa Rosa, California, and organized organic farmers to sell their products to co-ops and at a farmer's market. Met my husband Paul negotiating over the price of bell peppers, as he was part of a cooperative organic farm and I was distributing the produce. I then did work with autistic adolescents part time while I took classes in development, movement, and psychology and continued to farm organic produce. More |

As of 40-Year Reunion: Wow. 40 years. Where has the time gone? Let's see, after high school, I went to college (Cal Poly Pomona), and graduated with a B.S. in what was then called Business Data Processing. I got a job in Data Processing, and began my working career. I met a fella at work, and we got married. After a few years, he got a job offer he couldn't refuse in Columbus, Ohio, and we moved there (doesn't everyone?). Shortly after that we divorced and he moved to North Carolina. I remained in Ohio for 15 years. I also remained in the field of Data Processing. More |

As of 40-Year Reunion: It sure was great to hear from a CHS classmate. I am living in Diamond Bar, California. I was married to a former classmate, Tim Lowry class of 66. He passed away in 1987. I had a seven-year-old daughter at the time. Now she is 25 years old. Boy, that makes me feel old! It's amazing how quickly time passes. I am retired from Pacific Bell and am now contracted back as an Engineer. Even though I hate to admit we have been out of high school for 40 years, it sure would be great to see everyone again. Please let me know if something gets planned. I was good friends with Steve Galloway. Do you know if there is a way to get in contact with him? I also heard that something happened to Jerry Kern, but I didn't hear what. Any idea? He was a great guy. It was great hearing from someone. Please let me know if any reunion is in the works. |

As of 40-Year Reunion: Terry Repp and Gary Mettler started Rettler Guitars in 1975 simply because they wanted better guitars than what were commercially available. After spending six months planning and building tools and jigs they built two dreadnaughts, both of which are alive and well today. They were truly "handmade guitars" in the purest sense, no electricity required! Terry continued to perfect Rettler Guitars over a twenty year period, building up to three guitars a year, while working in management for a Fortune 500 company. Terry settled in Sherwood, Oregon in 1994 where he built a shop exclusively for Rettler Guitars. Individually handcrafted, Rettler Guitars are built with the finest materials and construction techniques with a simple goal - produce instruments unsurpassed in tonal qualities, playability and craftsmanship. In recent years Rettler Guitars have been available in select Guitar Shops in Oregon and California. Gary now builds high end custom cabinets in Kona, Hawaii and occasionally builds guitars. Terry & Gary remain best friends and often talk or visit and collaborate on ways to improve the steel-string acoustic guitar. |

As of 40-Year Reunion: My wife Caryn and I have been married for almost 35 years now. She is a Baldwin Park grad but I don't hold that against her. We are currently living the mountain life in Twin Peaks (Lake Arrowhead area). After high school I attended Mt. Sac where I studied forestry and physical education and ran on the track team. I hurt my knee at the end of my sophmore year and decided PE was not something I was going to be able to do. I transfered to Cal Poly Pomona and studied Pre Veterinary Medicine—nobody told me it would be so hard to get into Vet School! More |

As of 40-Year Reunion: Hello All! Wow almost forty years! The years seemed to have flown by. It has been really interesting catching up with people on the website. I was also saddened to see that some of our classmates have passed on. It really puts life in perspective. So what have I been doing for the past 38 years? Well after graduating, I, like probably some of us, really struggled with what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. After bouncing around in college, getting drafted, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam, marrying another Covina High grad (Karen Beisner class of 72) and starting a family, I settled in on a career in sales working for a food ingredient company, selling spices, seasonings and flavorings to the food industry. It would be a career that would last over 27 years. More |
