Robin (Ocheltree) Rook

Soon afterwards, we found our way to Bangkok, Thailand for 8 years, followed by a transfer to Jakarta, Indonesia, for nearly 7 years. Then, after another stint in Peoria, we were transferred to Singapore where we've been living since early 2005. We love living overseas, and this region is exciting. By the way, Jim works for Caterpillar, Inc.

We have two great children. Both were basically raised overseas and thoroughly enjoyed their international experiences. Julie, who graduated from Purdue University, is currently a law student in Washington, DC. She's 25. Jason, 22 yrs, is a chemical engineering major at Miami University in Ohio.

I kept up my teaching throughout our travels, teaching middle school at the international school in Bangkok (ISB) and middle school again at Jakarta International School (JIS) in Indonesia. In Jakarta, it was quite surprising when I ran into Bob Blauvelt, who was also on the international teaching circuit. Not only were we on the same faculty, but he was one of our son's teachers! Small world!

Anyway, I look forward to the reunion. Please send us all the information - hopefully Jim and I will be able to attend. Thanks again for the work you've put into this. It'll be great catching up with old friends.
