Pat RyanHello All! Wow almost forty years! The years seemed to have flown by. It has been really interesting catching up with people on the website. I was also saddened to see that some of our classmates have passed on. It really puts life in perspective. So what have I been doing for the past 38 years? Well after graduating, I, like probably some of us, really struggled with what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. After bouncing around in college, getting drafted, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam, marrying another Covina High grad (Karen Beisner class of 72) and starting a family, I settled in on a career in sales working for a food ingredient company, selling spices, seasonings and flavorings to the food industry. It would be a career that would last over 27 years. After Karen and I divorced in 1997, I was transferred from California, through business, to Colorado where I met my current wife, Kathleen. Kathleen, and I currently live in Castle Rock, Colorado where we have a recruiting business that places sales and marketing executives with food companies nationwide. I have three wonderful children (twin sons Scott and Chris and a daughter, Braylynne) from my first marriage. I also have a wonderful stepdaughter (Jacquelyn) through my marriage to Kathleen.
