Beverly Brownell

I moved back to Covina in 2004 and lived there two years before moving to Rancho Cucamonga in March 2006. There has been a lot of growth in West Covina and Covina since 1968. However, some places remain the same--Old Town Covina, Covina Bowling Lanes (where I bowled in a league during high school), Eastland Shopping Center (though much bigger), my church, Covina United Methodist Church (where Sharon Rasmussen's father is a member as well as Bruce Goddard's parents, etc.). The old high school was recently given a face lift--new sign, paint, etc.

My good friend Jim Fuhrman lives in Pasadena. He has 24/7 care due to M.S. However, his faith is strong and he has a sense of humor. I have also been in touch with Tom Brady, who recently remarried. My good friend during high school, Carol Fanning (Arnold) is living in Ontario, California, with her husband Rod Arnold. Please let me know if you need any addresses.

Tell us a bit about the things you love to do!
    I volunteer as a literacy tutor at the library. I work with adult learners to help them with their English skills.
I enjoy listening to music, reading novels, going to art museums and to plays, spending time with my two nieces (ages 31 and 28), swimming and going to the beach, shopping (I'm a shopaholic!), decorating my new apartment.
